Dr Amy Vowler

Dr Amy is a practising NHS GP and hair restoration surgeon with over a decade of clinical experience. She founded Hair GP to give women something that didn’t exist — a dedicated space where hormonal hair loss is taken seriously, investigated properly, and treated by a doctor who understands the full picture.
Her training spans general practice, dermatology, and hair restoration surgery — including mentorship under Professor Gambino, former head of the Italian Hair Restoration Society, and advanced surgical training through the ISHRS. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and an affiliate member of the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS).
As both a GP and hair specialist, Dr Amy can assess your hormonal health, prescribe HRT, run blood tests, and deliver treatments like PRP, polynucleotides, and FUE hair transplants — all in one place, without NHS referrals. Dr Amy sees every consultation patient personally.
